Greet Dijkstra lives and works in Appingedam (The Netherlands), a stone's throw from its famous "Hanging Kitchens" over the Damsterdiep Canal. Her work reflects both her environment as well as her colourful fantasy.
In 2015, she received an honorable award "DamSTER" from the Appingedam city council for her merits in the field of culture and society and may rightly become an ambassador of Appingedam.
